TeuxDeux is a “simple, designy, free, browser-based to-do app” from SwissMiss.

I really love to do lists so this is right up my alley. I love how it’s completely minimal and easy to use. I’ll definitely be making good use of this app and will be looking forward to the iPhone version that’s in the works!

I am by no means an expert on the shit, but I’ve definitely got my views. This is where I will spew them.

I love being married. I think it’s super. It’s also hard as hell and can be real annoying. There is a lot I have yet to learn but I do know a few things. I know that if when I was engaged or even dating, and I wanted to sleep with other people, I wouldn’t have gotten married. Want to get some D? Don’t get married. Want to ‘bang out’ as many chicks as possible but you still love someone? Do not get fucking married. I know more people than not that are getting divorced within their first year of marriage because someone has a wandering penis or vagina and it just hurts my heart and seems so unnecessary.

It is probably naive of me to think it’s that simple but for me, it is. If Mike decides he wants to go sleep with other chicks, well then fuck you very much and bye. I’m going to take our dog and 1/2 of your money and be on my merry fucking way. I don’t care how much I love him (which is a whoooole lot, duhs) but if his penis enters anyone elses orifices, it’s a fucking wrap. No need to discuss it. Just deuce.

Mazda gave the bloggers flip cameras to get video of the show. Of course I busted out my Zi8 to compare the two at lunch. Not only does the Kodak have more features and a bigger screen, but it’s also less expensive. All of the bloggers agree the Zi8 is better, which is why I’m proud to be a brand ambassadors.

A couple of things: first of all, yes this is me and it kind of made my day that you even knew who I was, Judiism, because I always think that only three people (can’t even link to this one, because it’s my mom) read my blog, so now I feel like a mini-, pseudo-, sort of but mostly not really-celebrity! :)

Secondly, as you may or may not have seen on my blog earlier, I too was at the LA Auto Show with Mazda today, along with Mary Rambin (who couldn’t have been nicer and who actually is a legitimate blogger unlike, ahem, me). I actually have a lot more to say on that subject - the LA Auto Show, not Mary - but I just came home and my street was blocked off by three fire trucks (unfortunately, a house was on fire; fortunately, it was not mine) and the amount of attractive, eligible, soot-covered man boys is proving to be a bit distracting.

Exciting news!

So today I am going to the Los Angeles Auto Show per Mazda’s request to check out their new Mazda2, which is actually not even for sale until next fall!

Now don’t get it twisted, Mazda doesn’t actually consider me to be any kind of reputable or influential blogger (even though I’m sure all of you do). I just happen to work for the marketing agency that is working with Mazda and, thus, get a sneak peek at the new car along with every other person of actual importance.

I’m still pretty excited that my day at the office today will consist of ogling shiny, pretty pieces of metal that I can’t afford. I’ll let you guys know if it’s neat! :)

I learned something new today!

I wrote a paper for my Creative Nonfiction Writing class loosely based (totally based) on “my number”. You know, the number of people I’ve slept with (which is OBVIOUSLY zero - right, mom?). I didn’t actually share my number (ZERO) in the paper and one of my classmate’s first critiques was to “share the number! what’s the number?!”

When I giggled with nervous apprehension - because, YO, get up off my number’s jock! - she reminded me that I could just follow the 7/11 rule.

…

Wait, but…

Did you guys know about this rule?! Apparently if your “number” is under 7, you round up to 7 and if it’s over 11, you round down to 11. Who knew?!

So, based on that rule, what’s my number, you ask? STILL ZERO.

As much as I try to convince myself that timing, convenience, and all other external factors actually matter in terms of relationships… I am still not sold on this. I never want to be in a relationship of convenience. In fact, I’d prefer to be in a relationship of inconvenience because then I’d know that what we have is real. I’m honestly not afraid of putting in more effort than otherwise necessary because when I care for someone, I’m willing to go the distance.

Guys, on the other hand, aren’t like this. They’re logical; I’m emotional. It’s unbelievably rare—yet refreshing—if you actually find a guy where whatever inconveniences don’t matter. And at the end of the day, that’s the man I want to be with.
